ReCha – Recycling Champions, a socially responsible enterprise which aims to bridge the gap in the waste management and recycling industry in South Africa.

ReCha stands as a beacon of innovation, confronting two persistent societal challenges: waste management and youth unemployment. We developed this programme with the intention of providing young, motivated individuals with the skillset to bring about meaningful change in their communities, particularly in the area of waste management.

This ReCha programme is designed with the aim of empowering unemployed youth and transforming them into essential local recyclers within their community. We seek to nurture and develop micro-entrepreneurial Recycling Champions in underserved communities.
